callers says hello in exagerated manner-hangs up afterward

Called my cellular phone while I was at work with a long distance number. I was not very impressed.

These people are Scam artists. They will say they are attorneys with Brown Andrews and Scott, saying you owe them money and if you don't pay you will go to jail. Do as I did and please call federal trade commission and also your local attorney general state consumer. Don't pay them any money!!!! I called the bar association of New York and they aren't attorneys. They aren't even a collection agency. As I understand they are over seas and getting people like us to pay them for debts we think we owe. They will contact your family, you and your job. Know that these people can't do anything other then to harass you but please put a fraud alert on your credit.

Called at 6:36 pm on the 28th of Jan. No one was there when I answered the call. Then line was busy each time I tried to call back.

Called at 9:25pm no message.

called(4:00pm) with recording asking if I wanted to reduce my interest on my accounts - dial 9. A person comes on the line - I ask what is this about? The guy hangs up. I call back & get recording - this # not in service.

when i answer this call it starts ringing somebody but i dont know who as i always hang up befor it is answered

Got a call at 11:45 on thanksgiving night. We didn't answer the phone but he left a message on our answering machine something about look what i started?? I didn't recognize the number or the voice so i deleted the call.

Some foreigner keeps calling my job and cell saying this is an important legal matter but doesnt give me any info on what type of legal matter this is; then states I owe money and I need to wire it before I am arrested.

They stated they were a collection agency (ARS) their name was Tina Sweeney. I told this company when they asked for Betrise they had the wrong number months ago and remove me from their calls. Per Federal Law when asked to be removed they are required, they continue to call.
